According to the Moscow Department of Transport, a new large transport hub Tekstilschiki will appear in Moscow. It will fully operate in 2023.

 

 

The hub will combine two lines of the Moscow Metro (Line 7 and the Big Circle Line), Line 2 of the Moscow Central Diameters (MCD) and 23 routes of the surface transport. Moreover, the hub will make rides more convenient for over 100 thousand passengers.

 

Thanks to the new hub, the Tekstilschiki station (Line 7) will become freer by 20%, and the southern areas of Line 7 and Line 10 will be unloaded by 20% as well.

According to the Moscow Department of Transport, a unified ticketing system based on the Moscow transport Troika card is implemented on public transport in 19 Russian regions. It was also announced that 5.5 million passengers in Russian regions used the Troika card for the fare payment since the beginning of the year.

 

 

Digitalization of public transport in the regions is the task set by the President of the Russian Federation. Today, SberTroika-based ticketing system is already in operation in 19 cities and regions of the country.

 

We see that passengers appreciate its convenience: over the four months of 2022, 5.5 million trips were paid with the Troika card. We are ready to continue sharing the technology with progressive regions where the leadership cares about the convenience of the residents and understands the importance of implementing modern solutions for the transport development, - said Maksim Liksutov, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport.

After its launch, passengers will have the opportunity to make interchanges to more than 40 stations of other metro lines, to the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) and all the existing and prospective Moscow Central Diameter (MCD) stations.

Москва признана ООН лучшим мегаполисом мира по показателям "развитие инфраструктуры" и "качество жизни", свидетельствуют данные рейтинга организации "Индекс процветания городов".

Москва занимает первое место по развитию инфраструктуры, набрав 83,2 балла. Затем идет Лондон — 75,9 балла, у Парижа — 76,3.

Также российская столица лидирует по качеству жизни — 68,3 далее следует с 61,59 баллами британская столица, а 57,16 имеет главный город Франции.
 
 
 
 
В целом в глобальном рейтинге Москва располагается на третьем месте из 29 мегаполисов мира. Победителем стал Сингапур, а второе место получил канадский Торонто.
 
Здесь учитывались параметры "равенство и интеграция в жизнь общества", "продуктивность экономики", "экологическая устойчивость" и "городское управление и законодательство".
